Is There A Difference Between DHA, MOH, And HAAD Licenses?
If you are contemplating a career in health care in the UAE, then you've probably heard of some of the health authorities there: DHA, MOH, and HAAD. They all contribute to supervising health practitioners in their place, but definitely, the differences can really get confusing.

MOH license
The license by MOH covers northern emirates,
which include Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al-Quwain, Fujairah, and Ras Al Khaimah. Let
it be known, however, that MOH does not cover Dubai or Abu Dhabi. Every one of
the latter emirates has a separate licensing authority. As in DHA, you also
have to go through the Doctor Expat and sit for the MOH exam
before you can practice.
HAAD license
For anyone who wants to work particularly in
Abu Dhabi. It is pretty much like the DHA and MOH licenses concerning the
process; it consists of a verification process of documents via DataFlow and
will have to sit for an exam. One of the unique characteristics of Medical Licensing Procedures in UAE
is the requirement that healthcare professionals in Al Ain, a suburb of Abu
Dhabi but often perceived and treated as an independent region for licensing
purposes, hold this license.
